SMS Messaging Terms & Opt-In

Effective June 12, 2026. Program operated by Narae LLC.

Program name: Saturday Mahjong Club tournament notifications.
Operated by: Narae LLC.
Message types: tournament invitations, reminders, registration and waitlist confirmations, and account/support replies.

How you opt in

You opt in to text messages by entering your own mobile phone number when you create a Saturday Mahjong Club account in our mobile app, and by checking the consent box shown on the sign-up screen before tapping Create my account. Checking that box is a required, affirmative action and is how we record your consent. The exact consent language you agree to is:

"I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and I consent to receive recurring automated account and tournament text messages (invitations, reminders, confirmations) from Saturday Mahjong Club at the phone number I entered above. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help."

The sign-up screen where this consent is captured looks like this:

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on the tournaments you participate in — typically 2–8 messages per tournament (invitation, reminders, and confirmations).

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan. Saturday Mahjong Club does not charge for the messages themselves.

How to opt out or get help

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending SMS messages to you. You can also remove your phone number in app settings. For help, reply HELP to any message or email koproject9@gmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

SMS opt-in consent and your phone number are not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. See our full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

A note on player invitations

When a team captain invites a friend to join their team, that invitation is sent from the captain's own phone through their device's native messaging app — not from Saturday Mahjong Club's number. Saturday Mahjong Club only sends messages to people who provided their own number and opted in as described above.
